I think I’ve decided how to format the journal for my final product. I spent some time researching different kinds of research journals, and this is what I like best.
Date:
Time:
Material Covered:
What I could Improve on:
What I learned:
Mentor Feedback:
I can always add more categories if I need to, but right now I can’t think of anything else. I can talk about what I taught, what I could have done better and what I learned. I imagine I’ll be able to write at least a paragraph for each category. I don’t think I’ll be able to do this for every mentor visit I’ve had, but if I remember any for a specific reason I can do those, and I’ll start doing one every week. Maybe I could add a lesson plan for every week I’ve had one, just to show what I’ll be doing. Or even add pictures of the music the kids are learning(?) I don’t know how in-depth I should go, or if I should have pictures at all. For right now at least, I’ll stick to the format above and see what happens I guess.
