 Mr. Holzer has been a band director for 15 years and has been teaching in FISD for 12. He opened both Lebanon Trail High School and Stafford Middle School. The Stafford Honor Band was the TMEA CCC Honor Band Runner-UP in 2015. His bands have been named Mark of Excellence "National Winners" 5 times as well as ATSSB "Outstanding Performance" winners 3 times. 

Mr. Holzer is graduate of UNT and holds a Master in Music Education Degree from SMU. He thoroughly enjoys working with students and watching them grow as both musicians and people. 

 

Mr. Holzer is married to Kathryn and they have two amazing children - Nicole and Evan. Mr. Holzer's hobbies include watching and attending baseball games and trying out new restaurants!!
