Not a ton happened this past week, but I’m starting to appreciate ISM more. I took the class because I wanted more real life experience, and I’m definitely starting to appreciate the experience I’m getting more. For example, I had a friend who made a resume for a college interview, but he just typed his information up on a Google Document. I was appalled by it of course, and helped him make a much better and more professional one, but it opened my eyes to how much more prepared I’ll be in the real world than most kids my age. I have good interview skills, I know how to be professional and I'm somewhat getting experience in what having a real job is really like. It just makes me very grateful to have the opportunity to be taking this course. Also, I’m starting to prepare for the Winter Showcase. I’ve already made my invitations, and I need to start working on my display board. The thing I’m struggling with most, is I don’t know how to make my board interesting. I can make it look nice, but I need to find a way make people want to stop and look at it. I can’t think of anything interactive to do. Worst case scenario, I can bring my laptop and have some examples of my work set up.
Can you add a metronome to your board? That would be fun!
